IL Book Club : May 2010 - Chicken Soup for mother and daughter soul

Hi Friends, do you remember that mother's day is nearing? Well, yesssssssss, its on 9th of May this year. And what better that to read a book this month that brings out more about the most beautiful ang giving person in this world - OUR MOTHER.

And a mother's role is always passed on to her daughter. So every daughter has the wonderful experience in this world to transform from just a daughter to a MOTHER.

So, this is the book I propose for the month :

So, ILites, lets make this Mother's day a memorable day, make sure you wish your mother's and make her feel wanted and needed and loved more than anything in this world - because she is the one person who has selflessly given everything (literallly) away for your happiness. ​

So, a beautiful book for a beautiful person in our lives! These have short stories with really touching essence to each of the story. Do participate and lets discuss the book! ​

Just finished reading the first chapter. So truely the author has mentioned about the birth of child is equal to not 1 but 2 births!

 

With a lot of the pages "invisible" to be under copyright, I have finished the book finally!

I simply touhing book, with a lot of stories to realise what a beautiful person we all have in our life - called mother.

I liked the "magic jar' story - it was funny and touching.

Another one - was where the author mentions how her mother sing lullybye for her, while she was a kid and now, sings lullabyes to her son.
