That's precisely the point I am trying to make why it makes more sense to wear the inner-wear outside. It is preposterous that we spend a fortune on an inner-wear and wear it under layers and layers of dress material. Makes no sense really. When we have a Cartier pen, we keep it in our shirt pocket where everyone can see it and admire it. Expensive things need to be flaunted around.

I guess Superman did it merely to distract his enemy. As the bad guy stand rooted to his spot trying to figure out why the other guy is dressed up like that, the SM can deliver a few lethal blows and save the mankind.
