    Hello Sir,

Most of the time I just do that and I am blamed for what not-outspoken, harsh the list is endless...

I do not think that all people listen. This is just my experience.

I am just glad that the Almighty mostly listen to my prayers.

    Regards,

    Abha.

As long as you speak from your heart, you'll find your conviction increasing and you'll develop the equanimity to accept bouquets and brickbats alike.
God may not grant all our prayers though He may listen.
A mother will not give everything that the child asks for.
She'll give ONLY what is good for the child and her judgement is final!

    Dear Sri,
    I loved best your statement

The action I'll recommend is to use the time honoured method of sticking to Sanskrit because a literal translation of the words of praise from Sanskrit to Tamil or any other language may not sound so solemn. The solemnity infact comes out of your ignorance of the language

Recently, I saw an advt for a CD, translating Rudram in tamil. I love that hymn & so rushed. When I started listening to the translation in tamil, I rushed out of the shop with more speed. I realised the solemnity lies in the sound vibrations, produced, whatever be the language rather than understanding the meaning.

Imagine, chanting a translation of Kanasashti Kavacham in english ! Lord Murugan will run away.

    Love,
    Chithra.
