    Ice Cream Sundaes

    Knowledge is about the past, faith is about the future and ice cream sundaes are about the present. Enjoy!

    Knowledge is the product of experience and experience is the legacy of the past. We are nothing without our past.

    Faith on the other hand is our hope and belief in the good things to come in the future. It is the product of the bad things that happened in the past and still happening in the present.

    There are however many tempting things around in the present which simplify life and stop the nostalgia of the past and fear of the future- a cup of ice cream sundaes for example.

    Enjoy your Ice Cream Sundaes before it melts.

    Faith can be delusionary too. But then, it is not possible to try and find out everything. We depend on said in the past and in practice for centuries, and that becomes Faith.
    We can still have Ice Cream Sundaes without any knowledge.

    A good advice not to ruminate over the past nor worry about the uncertain tomorrow. Ice cream sundae is a good suggestion to enjoy the present moment. Though it it is more than a decade since I enjoyed the company of ice cream
    I made up for it in the virtual tour of the ice cream parlour created by you.

    Am able to enjoy present because I made the ingredients required for present enjoyment in the past.
    Am able to enjoy the present because past earnings earn interest for future in my investments of yesterday.
    The word present exists only because of past
    Similarly the word present exists because of future. Present containsthe past and its continuation is future.
    Earth rotation determines past present future. What is past for NZ & AUSTRALIA is my present in India and its future of UK & USA.
    WHEN TIME IS HALF PAST TWO I LUNCH
    WHEN TIME IS HALF TO TO TWO I AM IN PRAYER
    BUT THERE IS PAST & future around noon and midnight.
    Trust you enjoy unique FB. I Apologise if not.
    My ice cream sundaes available to enjoy now then and later in freezer.

    It so happens nothing can be done about the past except learn from mistakes committed. The problem is we did not see it when was committed. At that time, we thought it was the best choice under the circumstances. Similarly, we worry about the future that is yet to come and we do not have any idea what it will be. The only thing we can do is to be ready for it with safety measures like a retirement fund.
    In whichever country we live, we are left with the present only, which again is like flowing water in a river. In effect, there is no present also.

    Ice Cream Sundays
    Reminds me of the Good Times
    And all the Fundays

    Ice Cream Sundays
    When adults lounged about
    And kids ran around and Played

    Ice Cream Sundays
    When people greeted each other
    And ladies dressed up
    To resemble department-store Display

    Ice Cream Sundays
    When we sat at a counter
    On the uncomfortable barstools
    When our Ice Cream arrived
    We all jumped up and said "Yay"

    Ice Cream Sundays
    Savor every bite
    Pace yourself else you get brain-freeze
    And exclaim, "Olay!"
