If you're looking for birth control along with relief from bleeding then you are most likely to be prescribed OCPs. Of course it depends on whether you're a good candidate for the birth control pill as it won't be recommended if your age and other pre existing medical conditions are against it..
definitely you won't suggest or demand for a prescription, and but keep in mind that its one of the options recommended by the physician for regulating bleeding.
Ket us know how it goes.

Thank you for suggestions.. And now one more question.. I don't know why suddenly why I'm doubting everything I'm doing.. Half the world's population is women so looking for some advice again..

During shower I used to clean "the area" and put a folded wad of tissue immediately since I have heavy flow and it used to hold till I finish washing up legs etc.. but nowadays the tissue is getting wet in a shower.. So it defeats the purpose. I have definitely not lost it I know... but suddenly I don't know how I've showered this way since sooo many years.. How are you guys showering.. I don't like tampons and never used them... and how to wash the bathroom floor in a US walk in shower with only a stuck showerhead and no tap to fill a bucket!? Ugghhh.... I've been in this house for 8 years using same bathroom.. I just don't remember what I have been doing.. just suddenly one day I got this doubt.. and from then onwards I am confused. Help!

Thank you for the link to "Always Discreet Incontinence & Postpartum Incontinence Underwear for Women - Maximum Protection - XL - 15ct"

Sounds like a good idea! I am wearing 3 underwears daily during periods to mimimize leaks this will surely be a big help to me! And eliminate lots of handwashing. I cannot dare to put underwear worn during periods in washing machine and it is very time taking to wash soo many underwears! Thank you!

Haha..some of the stuff is TMI..
But it's good thing you shared your problem and got suggestions.. even a regular period makes an average woman exhausted and sick. Can't imagine what you go through every month!
Dont know how you're managing without proper medical investigation and treatment done.

Have you tried menstrual cup? I have been using it from last three years. Life has become super comfortable during periods because of the cup. No blood smell, no staining underwear or dress and while bathing or peeing no bleeding.

No I haven't tried it. But something going inside is kind of scaring me too.. And i think while changing or emptying again it would be a problem (but I'm just guessing here)

I'm even scared to change my pants nowadays.. scared if I need to wash my hands if i touch my underwear and in fact I started washing my hands after changing pants to avoid contamination... What got into me I don't understand. Same women I handled two kids allll alone in the US jumping from one class to another, dropping kids everywhere doing household chores, shopping, and even working at one point, outside household chores ...everything ! and help for neighbhors cause when they see me home they would ask all kinds of help! but now this damn problem .. Sigh.. Can't even get out of the house during periods now. Maybe its god's way of warning me or preparing me for corona I hope I can snap out of this soon.. Sigh..

Yes, but problem is usually I remember this clearly I used to hand wash any clothes with stains (maybe once in 10 years) and rest used to go in washing machine.. Then one day I think I had missed a stain on a pant that had been washed in washing machine and the stain set in.. I had to throw it away as I could not get it out no matter what I did since it had been put in the dryer too.. Since then I'm afraid of putting anything I wore during periods in washing machine without hand washing first.. But I am not used to handwashing clothes so it is taking a loooong time. So looking for suggestions. Is there an easy way to hand wash all these clothes? Or if not hand washing how do I make sure stains are definitely gone in the washing machine ? Sheesh. I promise this is my last question.. I will not ask more questions about this topic:)

Don't know what's going on with you. Maybe you could check your pants/skirts etc once for a couple of minutes before tossing them into the basket? Simple protocols sometimes help. Why are you getting periods for that long? Did your gynecologist say anything? Looks like something is stressing you out.
