    She wanted to withdraw one husband with 500 rupees ? May be she was away, and put him there for safe-keeping.

    Dear Cheeniya Sir @Cheeniya,

    Words overrule the digits. If Rs.1,500 is converted into words as "One Husband Five Hundred Rupees", the banker needs to reject the withdrawal as words are not clear, right?

    Now, I am also curious to see the withdrawal slip. :yikes:

    Thank you Cheeniya Sir for the eagle vision.I didn't notice earlier.Whatever be the the technical nature of the form, the intention is to withdraw one husband and five hundred Rupees already deposited. We should thank P. suseela for attracting the attention of the media through her innocence or ignorance.

    There is no bank seal accepting the withdrawal slip. Apparently, it was rejected but before that someone has taken a photo of this withdrawal slip. When we read the two lines seperately, it reads "One huband = 500 Rupees only".
