    Hi live with your parents and visit your in laws once in every two weeks to be polite. If husband is not there and you don't share good relationship with in laws then stay with your parents, why stress yourself out. If someone does not like it too bad.

    Hmm....why?, coz to avoid friction. As much as we hate it, if your husband insists on something and he makes it clear that he would not like it if otherwise; and if your relation with him is so far well, we as women woulnt want it to spoil (or not?)

    That's why.

    What would help OP is to somehow manage her husband for her to stay at her own place. We as women have similar opinions...if it was Indusmen, then the votes would reverse.
