    Hello Sri,
nice post! Yes, it is always nice to look from a different angle. Many freak accidents happen because the parents do not see in the child's angle.
When somebody makes a mistake, I make myself think in their place, ask them the reason and then react accordingly.
My hubby is a very hot tempered person and shoots first and asks later. So my son Aravindh always grumble at him for scolding him with out knowing the reason.
And another thing is- we always our tell children that they are grown up (when we want to get things done) and when they demand something we say they are too young. This surely confuses them. Treat them as old as they are, that is my motto.

    Dear Varloo
That's nicely summed up! I mean your motto.
If we keep a mustard close our eye, it may look large enough to obliterate our view! A judge delivers his judgement after hearing so many witnesses. Can he deliver a fair and effective judgement after hearing only the complainant? How can we do that in our daily life without looking at the problem from different perspectives?

    Dear Chithra
I'm surprised that you have visited a very favourite post of mine which is lying here gathering dust! In fact, I enjoyed writing this piece and I enjoy reading it too!:)

    Dear Sri Sir

I was under the impression that you are complaining about your wife in a public forum and I was thinking that you are so brave enough to do so with lots of ladies around. Only in the later part of the post I realized that I am an idiot to think so and it is a small child's thoughts. I agree thoroughly with the child's thoughts. I have often heard my daughter making loud thinking about me or my husband whether we are really sane at that particular moment.

Kids now a days are great thinkers than we were in our childhood.

    Dear Sri,
When you posted this, you were a "new-comer". But now, you have zoomed ahead of me, an oldie ( I mean in membership!) & have reached the top. 0h Sri, in I L, we always give merit wherever & whenever due. Nothing else except real talent matters !
You have got what is due to you & what you richly deserve as well - nothing else but sweet success !
The best is yet to be !
    Love,
    Chithra.

    Dear Rajmi
As a grandfather, I am able to observe keenly the travails of my grand daughter! Let me tell you that it is not always that the parents are correct. At times, it can be otherwise too! Mothers, in particular, confuse the tender children with their 'blow-hot, blow-cold' attitude. On occasions like that, I become the kids' confidant! This story is not a figment of my imagination. It has some truth too!

    Dear Chithra
I really wonder how you say I have reached the top and on the basis of what parameters. I have a great fear of heights and so reaching the top never finds a place in my agenda! Further, I would rather be at a place where I can enjoy the company of my peers. Lots of them in fact. Who wants the lonely spot of the top?
