Hi..i am basically from tamilnadu and I live at california and till now i was not working..i completed my engineering in india but due to family circumstances i couldnt work there aswell and got married and came here..till now my work experience is zero and i feel so ashamed about it..i feel so empty and worthless..i have a 34 month old daughter and i had so much of worries about her and even now i have few left about her development..she doesnt play with her peers and i am tired trying to find a good companion for her of dame age..and always desperately looking for mom friends around with kids of same age..but fail finding one fits her and me..so my anxiety is always high and i dont know if am under ppd too..i checked with doctor and she told i just need some hobby..but i feel useless and asked my husband to apply for ead now..but i know i am not a very good resource for them to give me a job ..and also i dont want to work anything related to software or IT..i want to do any course outside this which will fetch me a job ..i want to switch my field unrealted to my UG course..is that possible here?? i anyways did biology in my 12th and out of no choice i took engg and i regret it a lot..now i dont want to continue with my engg related course or works..i am inclined towards lactation specialist or someother course..any ladies here who shifted their job field after comjng to us or any ladies with no work experience in india started working here? i am completely blank and i need a push and some encouragement..also some guidelines about choosing courses and job please also i live at san diego in california and looking for some mom connections too..
Just for a trial purpose can you revise any software like Photoshop and make some diagrams or document of bio or any other subject and publish it on net and earn some money????
1. Unless u initiate things will not move. Not too late. Search for some teaching jobs for kids. If it is for volunteering purpose also, it is OK. Join first. 2. Turn ur home as a peaceful place. Change the interiors. Smell the place really fragrant with perfumed potpourri. Ur mood May have a transformation. 3. Don't worry if u don't have friends. Enjoy ur day in Starbucks. Play with ur daughter. U will never ever get this time again in ur life if she grows up. 4. If u really want a change in ur career field, u have two choices. Whether u need it in engg field or some other field. Be consistent in what u need in ur career. If by any chance u get some consultant job in engg field do take it up. Who knows, u may grow up in heights.
