Hi All, I am planning to prepare some handmade cards for coming festive occasions... I need to know the technique of making paper flowers! Has anyone tried it before? Thanks in advance!
Hey, Making Paper flowers is pretty easy and there are I think quite a many designs to make them....You can have a search on net.... I usually, take a square shape paper, fold it twice and then fold it in a vertical order..... Make a semi circle from the tip and cut it out...I am not sure how much this explanation will help you...I'll try to paste pictures once I do it at home. Cheers!
hi I too am interested in making paper flowers. Things you need : Some paper, glue, scissors, tape & soft wire. 1. Cut out a petal and crumple. The crumpling makes the paper pliable. Shape the paper in the form of a centre bloom. 2. Apply a little glue to the bottom of the petal to hold the shape. 3.Add more petals to create a flower. The flower can be as big as you want. You are free to create a big flower. 4.Pinch a little fold at the bottom of the paper to create a curved petal. Add as many as you like. 5.Finally you can fold a piece of paper or use the soft wire to make a stem for your flower. You can start out with white paper and then go on to coloured paper as you perfect your art.
