How to do embroidery on plain material before stitching

    Hi frnds,,

    i am currently learning hand embroidery, now i am planing to do embroidery on salwar... but at the beginning i got dought.
    from where i need to start the embroidery. i am planing to embroidery on front part of the dress material.i don't know the tailoring basics.
    please anyone one tell me how to start...before stitching.

    Hi Bhargavi,

    I used to get my material marked the outlines of neck, sleeves and total body shape outline from my tailor before stitching. If you have any tailor nearby you can get the material marked by him.

    Otherwise, take your stitched top and place it on the material, mark the height, side shape and neck depth and start stiching.

    Hi Bhargavi,

    I also do the same.Mark the neck, sleeve on the material and then do the embroidery.
