How to be good wife

Hmm well my answer may not help much here. But nevertheless I will share.
Because I dont believe in being good daughter, good DIL or good wife. I believe in being Good human being.
And for me that should cover everything.
Relations are important rock in our lives , but more important is how our own self looks at us. We give importance to spouse role a way bit too much, Thats why I think it hurts us too much when we dont get the same things in return.

With that I dont mean , I dont value marriage and its package. I do a lot. And I do everything to keep my marriage a happy one. But at the same time, I am never trying to just be "good wife " or "good daughter " or anythign like that. I am being myself. If my so far upbringing and education has made me a good human being then that should reflect in any engagement I carry in my life. Wether its about being "Good employee", "Good neighbour", "Good mom", "Good DIL", "Good devotee" etc etc..
So my punch line for myself is "Be good human being, everything else will fall in place"
