How many of you are still using ayurvedic soaps?

Dear all,

Ayurvedic soaps are still shining among other beauty soaps. Ayurvedic soaps such as Medimix, Margo neem soap, Chandrika, Hamam and Jeeva lists the top.

Medimix: It contains 18 medicinal ayurvedic herbs.

Margo Neem: Margo Neem ayurvedic soap contains pure Neem oil.

Chandrika: It is made with pure vegetable oils such as purified Coconut oil, Sandalwood oil, and Patchouli oil.

Hamam: Hamam soap is enriched with Neem, Tulsi and Aloe Vera extracts.

Jeeva: Jeeva contains 27 medicinal ayurvedic herbs.

How many of you are still using ayurvedic soaps?

Hi shel,
I have started using chandrika and am seeing great results. this soap is also not very expensive. I have tried all kinds of soap even khadi, but nothing holds very good like Margo / Old Cinthol / Chandrika.

Also shel, there are different kind of margo soaps available. I think u are talking about the Old Margo. I am not able to find them in market. its very rare. isnt it?

Thanks you for your first feedback.
In my home, everyone use different soaps.
Well, My mother is still using chandrika soap. For the past 27 years, she is using it. But I dont like the smell at all. :spin
And my sister is using hamam soap. Even I dont like Hamam smell.
And I've tried lots of soaps. Lux, camay, Liril, dove, johnson and johnson baby milk soap. Now sticked to only one soap, Pears - oil control. I'm using it for the past 8 years.
Once I tried Margo Neem soap (old one), I couldn't tolerate the tinging effect and throwed it away.

Shel,

I tried Margo once, but I felt I became more darker.

I love to use Old Cinthol, especially in India. I love the scent of it. No specific deo or perfume needed post-bath. It makes me nostalgic :crazy.

I love the Old Cinthol soap.Like our friend mentioned above,you don`t need to use a deo also post bath.
Hate Chandrika,Hamam etc due to their smell and too much lather.......

I use Dove majorly these days,both white and pink.Leaves a slight oily finish in the skin which is just nice.

My mom and dad still uses the Old Cinthol soap

Myselves Pears - though not ayurvedic..the glycerine soap is good for skin..Earlier was bored with the glassy brown bar..Now thsi Blue and Green Pears are quite refreshing

Hiiiii

I am also using Pears blue but , after that my face become very dry i have to u coldcream
I have tried all the soaps but after using all soaps making my face dry . Is aurvedic soaps are gud for skin ?

Hi Shel,

I love old cinthol an pears also. Now I am sticked into DoyCare Aloe Vera. Really Good.

Thanks for dropping in.
Two days back I used white dove and the next day I got rashes :spin all over the body. I just throwed soap:rant. Before that I've used green color dove soap. I think that was so good :thumbsup when compared to the white color.
