Hi All Happy New Year ! How did u all spend the 1st day of the year? Hope u all had a good time. I went on a vacation to my husband's friend's place @ Indiana and enjoyed the New Year Eve with games, music and had a lot of fun. As usual on 1st Jan ' 10 @ around 10 O clock in the morning we all rode all the way to Aurora Balaji Temple to offer our prayers to the Lord. It was indeed heavily crowded with Indian devotees and really I felt @ home. It was like mini-India. There was a big queue with a number of curves. It was the same or even worse in the canteen for food. Lord Balaji was beautifully decorated with flowers and really I felt very happy to have the darshan on New Year Day. We had hot hot pongal vada in canteen and then drove back to our home. It was an enjoyable trip.
Hello Chivukula Nice to read what you did in 2010 for the New year. What all you did this year. did you guys go to the temple this year too..... We usually have a small party on the new year eve....never went anytime to a temple for the new year.
