Hi all, We are planning to shift our home by next month i.e., Aavani. But my husband must move there in this month (Aadi) due to job reason. He's telling that he will stay in our new home (rented one) for a month and we can do house warming in the next month. Can we do like this ? i.e., staying in new home before house warming ? People normally say we shouldn't shift house in the month of Chithirai. Maybe it's possible to shift in the month of Aadi on specific days and time. Consult the priest.
All you need to do is fix an auspicious time and day and boil milk, do an ordinary ganapathy and Lakshmi pooja . Offer some fruits and sweets and keep the Gods and goddess photos along with Lord Dattatreya. Keep one brass or pot full of water and salt packet in the kitchen. Give Vetrlai paakku [ haldi kumkum] to 3, 5 ladies. There is no harm in moving in before. Later when you fix the Grihapravesh or house warming, exactly before the right time of vaasthu, you all have to come out and enter as if you are entering at that time. All the best! There is nothing wrong with any month if it's an emergency.
