Hotstar US is shutting down on Sept 30th and everything is going to the Disney bundle. Hulu currently is having Neeya Naana and Super Singer. Don't see Cook with Comali and other shows. Lots of Malayalam movies are missing. Hotstar US normally sucked with the copyright issues and not telecasting shows like bigg boss and lot of movies as compared to its indian counterpart. On top of it, was very difficult search shows by release date. With Hulu the interface seems as clunky, very difficult to find stuff.
I don't think the India content will change. There are too many regionalized executions. Disney plus itself is different across regions and I don't know how much Hulu is used in India.
I agree, one Hotstar subscription converted to three (ESPN, Disney, Hulu) is a torture. In Hotstar, Indian content was the main and only content. In Hulu, it is not updated quickly and you have to navigate through multiple menus, it is annoying. Not renewing once my sub expires.
Some soulful singing by chitra amma in Super Singer Junior 8 Promo. But the show is missing in Hulu or Disney Plus. US Hotstar is no longer available I think. Anyone knows where these are aired?
