Hotels near Swamimalai/Garbarakshambigai temples

Hi All,

During my visit to india this July we have many temples to visit with my 2 year old daughter as it is her first visit to india.

We are planning a day trip to swamimalai/garbarakshambigai by leaving early morning from chennai and returning by night.

Does anyone have recommendataons of good hotels to eat lunch/dinner enroute from chennai.

My DD is very sensitive and we plan to take as much as possible from home but we also want to ensure we eat clean food so we dont fall sick.

Dear Sister,

My suggestion would be enroute yourself through TRICHY and have both lunch and dinner at Trichy itself, In case you would drive to kumbakonam then there are Iyer hotels (venkatramana) Meenakshi Bhavan, but otherwise Thanjavur no good hotels to either stay or just grab food.

the best that i know in the area is hotel sadabishekam in vaitheeswaran koil. decent..

but if you are going to stay for a day or two and visit around then i recommend streling resorts hotel or paradise resorts.. both have a good restaurant.
