Hey, Could someone please check why an unused uploaded photo is not deleted in an hour. I've erroneously uploaded a snap 10h back but still see it active though the upload manager displays a friendly reminder. "Uploads not utilized within one hour will be deleted" The asset class is "Not used" but the photo is not purged. Please advise.
There is no option to delete. To clarify — I'm referring to snap that is uploaded but not used as attachment in any post. Lingers still in upload manager which should be auto-deleted in a hour when not affixed to any post.
in the user profile under miscellaneous there is the attachments - click on that and all your attachments will be there. select the ones delete and click the delete button at the bottom.
Nice suggestion but tricky! I cannot publish that photo in a thread. In any case the system should have deleted it as the label says "Uploads not utilized within one hour will be deleted"
Sorry it is a family pic erroneously uploaded, can't publish and delete later, more trouble if it is still cached and does not delete the attachment in post (can't risk)
Sister Aria, When you go to Manage attachments, the unused picture will remain at the left bottom of the attachment arrangement, on that picture if you move cursor you will find an "x" on the top right corner, you click that the picture will be deleted. Try and update, Thanks, SAIRAM
load it to your personal album and before that under privacy set it to only yourself. that might work.
