    Hi Ladies,

Ive been a non-active member for the past few months. Had thought of writing earlier but couldnt due to circumstances. Does any one of you have any idea about legal aid and laws for dowry violence ? in my short lived stay my husband was pretty cruel and I am trying to get back to UK and file my case... need help from you. I have no finances but will trying desperately to get justice.

Why did it take you so long? Were you being confined or restrained in some way? If so, then yes you can still call the police...
