My husband has got a job offer from: The Capital Group UK | 58 Charlotte Square, Edinburgh EH2 4HQ, UK | Phone:+44 704 578 8597 Can anyone confirm whether it is a genuine company or not as they are asking for Affidavit of Guarantee from Senior Advocate and to obtain that some initial fees needs to be paid. Hence, I request if somebody from you can help us to know whether this Company is authentic or not? Also Affidavit of Guarantee is must for working in UK? Hope to receive replies soon. Website address, type of industry would have been very helpful. But beaware of any company that asks money for job. I have not heard about it here in UK.
Hi Priyam, be extremely careful with companies asking for fees or money. Also check the email address that was used: if it's a hotmail or gmail etc, it's usually not genuine. The company ssems to exist, but that is still no garantuee. Another thing to check is if your husband has ever applied for a job with this company and if the job offered is within your husband's qualifications, as the job offered in thos emails are usually very general, like PA, admin assistant. hope this helps Sigrid
