    Leela, Gauri, Ramya,
    These were extremely informative tips regarding the wonder fruit - APPLE.
    I have cut down eating apples since some time, but I will surely start doing so now.

    Also, nowadays, we get "Washington Apples" - but they are not as sweet as the Indian apples, rather sometimes they are sour.

    Any idea which are better to consume?

    Thanks gauri for the interesting information, I was not a great apple fan, but have started enjoying apples...As we get a lot of varities here in the local grocery stores.

    Apple purifies blood with its innumerable phytonutrients or antioxidants. Very good source of fiber. Help metabolize food faster. So far eating apple everyday has helped me maintain/lose weight.
