Kdha, my DD is also the same age as you. She likes fruit shakes. Have you tried banana, manago, apple shakes?
Please aso check this link, we have updated lots and lots of recipes here: http://www.indusladies.com/forums/baby-kids-foods/245833-check-here-first-useful-threads.html
With my DD below is what I follow. I make sure she has at least one serving of he below:

    1. Fruits (she loves pears, strawberries, blueberries, apple and banana)
    2. Veggies: Usually I add veggies as part of her dinner (rice+veggies etc)
    3. Protein: Dals/ chicken etc
    4. Dairy: Milk, cheese, yogurt
    5. Fiber rich food as she is prone to constipation.

She starts with breakfast at 8 AM followed by snack at 10:30 AM. She naps from 11 to 1. Then she has lunch at 1 followed by snack at 3:30. Then she has dinner by 5:30-6 PM. Snack/milk at 7:30 before going to sleep at 8.

    Hope this helps.

A two years & five months old boy has to eat all food stuffs, which his family adult members are eating.

You need not spend money for health drinks. It is a myth to believe that the baby gains weight only by drinking health drinks or some powder like junior proteinex.

Both health drinks and junior proteinex are unnecessary for weight gain. Normal protein rich food is all that is needed for weight gain.
