Dear Sridhar, So..all ur characters has a background that is picked up from real life scenarios. And I do have read and heard abt character's like Mythili in real life but never encountered them. And ofcourse do give me the link that u mentioned. It would atleast help me in dealing with such people! And the experience u mentioned abt the fraud accountant,Oh my God! I am learning so many things through ur story!Such people do exist! And I would like to mention one good thing that happened because of HE. I had a friend called Madhavan during my college days.He was my senior and such a fantastic personality. We shared a very good platonic relationship and after my marriage we lost touch. He never attended my marriage though!!!!! Now after ur description of Madhavan,I was reminded of the good old days and realised how much I missed such a good friend. So,after a long time I spoke to him today and felt really good! Thanks for that Sridhar! Love, Jaya
Dear Jaya, Not all characters. Normally I take a little from here and a little from there to build a character. But for Mythili I have a background. And here's the link http://www.indusladies.com/forums/schoolgoers/1286-schooling-monday-morning-blues-another.html Read it and post your views on this thread itself. I am happy that my story reminded you of your friend and made you talk to him. Love,
Dear Sridhar, ThankGod, you did not give yet another interpretation for DW, in your reply. If I mention it, Indhu will come chasing to beat me & you won't know whether to defend your wife or enjoy my interpretation ! I will PM the same to you, for sure. In this post, your (love)reply runs on even ground, neither upper nor lower ! Varalotti (or as a matter of fact, the husband) will not figure in the list for any woman because the "chasing" is over ! Love, Chithra.
Dear Chithra, I have looking for the PM for the past 4 days. It has not come. I logged out and logged in. I had a few drops of Castor oil in my eyes. Still the pm was not there. I was talking only about those who have fans. I told Indhu, that Madhavan has fans, Sethu has fans. Even Mythili has fans here but not Varalotti. And by the way, who told you that the chasing is over? I am just 28 and about to turn 27 this April. How can you expect me to stop chasing now, at the prime of my youth? Love,
Re: HE - Episode 5 Most Gracious ILites, I am coming to you again with the good news. HE 5 will be on time, thank God. The first draft is ready and is undergoing revisions. When I was sitting all alone before my system last night, I wondered, whether this episode should have the words Timeline A or A Certificate. Most Wonderful moderators of IL, this time, please turn your heads the other way. I promise you that from the next episode I will be a "goody, goody" boy. Love,
Dear Sridhar, Please see the PM, sent ! With your turning 27, your chasing will continue. But knowing how young you are at 27, ladies chasing you will stop - we, ladies, love greener (read, really younger) pastures ! Love, Chithra.
Dear Chithra, PM seen. Gratefully acknowledged. There is a whole thread about expansion for DH and DW. And Madam, I am still young at still 27. And I have my own quota of ILs (intelligent ladies) chasing me. So the latest IQ test that's becoming popular is the answer to the question, Are you chasing V? Anyone can take the test. Love, sridhar
Re: Part 3! “Madam, you believe that there is only one God. We believe that there is only God. The tall mountains, the vast sea, the green fields, the butterfly, the birds, the animals, even the earthworm, the filth, good, evil, beauty, ugliness, you, me, the men and women – everything is nothing but God. Those were beautiful! I hope every one who questions our multi-God worship should be convinced with this reply of Sharada, sorry SRIDHAR. By the way, I stopped reading novels long time ago but you have rekindled the interest all over again! And I do not know if I am well-versed in the language skills enough to say that after having read your writings in Dinamalar varamalar and 'She' and comparing it with 'He' I find a more polished writing skill in 'He', not only the English but also the way of narration which can be equated to Great English writers. Your 'He' is more wonderful than 'She'!
Re: Part 3! Dear Malathi, Thanks for those great words. Thanks for the standing ovation. Your words were really inspiring, Malathi. I don't know, Malathi. But it could be true. While writing SHE and while writing for Dinamalar my mind was focussed more on the content than the format. Only when I conceived HE it dawned on the that there is no dichotomy like content-format or mind-thought or even... (the final phrase I have used in HE 5; you need to wait for 15 hours to read it). I am taking a little bit of story each time and I am revising my draft many times. May be that has had an effect. Words of encourage like these are sure to make any writer's day. Thanks once again, Malathi. regards,
