    it is so nice to know your little one is all set to invest 1000 for future lakhs.. it is a nice idea to know about going on in the world and what can happen if we spoil nature...its roof top nature for sure...
    but on the negative side i read in an article that india tops the list in global warming in third world or growing countries... and was i furious.. but what can one do?
    we do cut down trees use cars refrigerators sprays and what have you but to top the list... i dont know if the author is right. but which door do we knock to wipe away the blues?

    thats too high a title
    all i do is love trees
    take care of what i have
    and perhaps plant a few rare ones
    (especially the flowering kind)
    althought this note
    was titled tree treasure
    i wantonly gave the above title
    to let atleast a few to read
    and perhaps plant a few saplings...!

    Small drops do make a ocean. my son who is in 4th std trying to form a club and getting members for it proves that there is way if you want to try..

    i know the younger generation is getting involved... so it will happen..for sure..:thumbsup

    This is a good thought on trees..and how much we can save during the course of 50 years, if we plant a tree.
    Um..till now I didn't plant any trees..but my dh did...he loves too...
    In our house, he had planted 10+more trees as of date.
    He is tree lover, you see.:)

    Wow! A very nice way of persuading people in planting trees. My dad is very much fond of plants. Whichever house we rent for, my dad always find a place for his plants.

    thats a nice post!!!

    the very shade that the trees give is highly essential in a hot place like India.

    In Chennai sometimes the corporation itself recklessly clears trees in the name of laying roads.

    In the past five years I have seen a few green shady roads being turned into hot barren ones.
