Dear All, Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all you wonder ful ILites. May the Ashtvinayaka shower his choicest blessings on you and your family. *** GANPATI BAPPA MORYA *** -Janhavi
Hi all, Happy Vinayaka chavithi to all the IL members. I want to share my memories of Ganesh chaturti.. As i stayed in hostel from childhood... i used to wait for the festivals to go home... when we know some festival is coming, from 10 days before we used to pack our luggages and planning what to do at home and what and all games, movies i can enjoy with my mother.. and promising friends as i will get some special eatables which are prepared by my mother.. And on the day we are going to leave.. we used to have some unit test in the morning.. we dont even read for that test as we are so busy in packing luggage.. after finishing of that exam waiting nea the gate for my father.. oncei see him from far i used to ran to him and just stand(bcz we used to afraid alot for my father till my graduation, so we dont ever dare to talk single word with my father).. then taking the permission from warden and gettign into the bus.. that one hour journey is like some thing cant bear.. when i reach home my mother will be waiting at the gate and asking all the questions.. slowly she shows me the dress they bought for the festival (as she is a governament teacher she used to keep leave for me for the days i stay at home). i will be so busy from that day in eating all the sweets, fighting with my younger brother ( Still we used to fight alot) .. watching TV.. on the last day i will be crying from morning and mother try to console me alot.. promising me lot of things for the next holidays.. and my father will take me to hostel with a bagful of snacks and pickels.. For twodays after returning from home, we will be so busy in telling about all our experiences and sharing the snacks which we got from home... Those are really special moments to remeber.. My mother even now kids alot by telling all those stories infront of my husband.. Regards, Ramyaganesh.
Sorry IL's.. I started with special memories of Gensh chaturti but ended up with memories of holidays in hostel life.. Hope you people not got bored. Regards, Ramyaganesh.
