Dear friends WE will be travelling from chennai to coimbatore for ooty this sunday . IS there bus facility from coimbatore to ooty. IF yes how do we book ? Can anyone suggest a gud travel agency for this .
There are lots of buses from Coimbatore to OOty. You need to come to the bus stand in Gandhipuram for boarding them. As far as I know, private travel agencies do not run buses for OOty. You need to use the Government buses or arrange your own travel means by cab.
or you can directly plan to mettupalayam from chennai, from there you have lot of busses thru out the day..for a change if you want to enjoy the train journey, do advance booking for train(mettupalayam to ooty)..before going in train pleas confirm that there is no problem in the railway track..i think you aware of the natural calamities held there few months before.. have a nice trip to ooty!
