    Dear Friends,

I have given birth to a baby boy on july 11th..we have named him Pratyush.
Iam enjoying motherhood thoroughly..itz great!! The posts in indusladies is of great help now.I jus got time since his sleeping pattern has changed,he sleeps well in the night for the past 2 days.. earlier he used to sleep during daytime...

well i have a query..when i feed my baby he sleeps well and when i lay him in the cradle,he pees immediately and does not sleep again...this happens often..i wrap him with a cotton cloth to keep him warm....but it is of no use..what to do?

    thanks a lot in advance.

    regards,

    Banusree

    Congrats!! on your baby.
Basically, babies needs body heat. SO they sleep well next to mom.
It all depends on how you make a habit.
    So be stubborn.
    Good luck,
    Punitha

    Dear Banusree,
congratulations on ur bundle of joy. otherhood is definitely a joy. why dont you try using disposable diapers for ur baby at night.the babies like the warmth n security of the mother.try and make the baby sleep with you till he is in deep sleep, and then lay him in the cradle, with his diaper. so even if he pees its wont wake him up , and make it uncomfortable.try it. it worked for me!!!

Congrats Banu on your bundle of joy. As already suggested try diapers or a warm baby balnket, you can also use any old cotton saree at home and wrap the lil one, for good sleep. My love to Lil Pratyush, Happy Motherhood!!!!!!!!
