Dear Vijima,

I like this thread very much. My mom is also a senior citizen aged 78. Though her survival is with the help of medicines, she is very brisk, she washes her clothes for herself, in case of need she can cook for herself, wherever she stays she used to do petty works inspite of our requests not to strain much, she used to read ramayanam, narayaniyam, and slokas and writes sriramajayam. Unless she finishes all these things i.e writing sriramajayam, reading ramayanam etc she never takes her breakfast. Her breakfast is home made kanji. She is a disciplined lady and having a mind of not disturbing anybody. God had given her patience, will power and courage.

My brother and My husband are also 62 and they are also too brisk and involved themselves in social activities.
