Gift Ideas For An Old Friend

    Folks,
    I’m looking for a gift to take from the U.S. for a friend who lives in Switzerland. The gift has to be orderable online, easy to carry, and not an edible item. We were neighbors in childhood, she is 51, likes to travel and is health conscious, walks 10-15,000 steps everyday. She is very well-to-do and has travelled extensively all over the world. Likes to read, wears mostly cotton and Indian ethnic wear. I am meeting her after many years. First we are meeting for few days and then more friends will join us. Budget is $150-$250.

    Any suggestions?

    A shawl, for someone who travels, apt for her age and the region she is in, about which she doesnt need to worry about size or fit, can be a good gift. Just a sample link, there may be others.
