    Are there any activities planned for Ganesh chaturthi 2012 in Abu dhabi.? Which of the clubs are active in this aspect and is there free entry to non-members?

    ISC - will keep 5 days Ganpati Bappa.
    It is free entry, but on the day of Ganpati, it will be overcrowded, and we cann't even have a good darshan.
    But the decoration and arrangements are wonderful.

    I think this information is wrong Marathi Mandal is keeping Ganpati at ISC Mini Hall for 2 days as per there Website are there any changes please advise .

    Are there any place were they celebrate Ganesh Chaturti in Abu DhABI Please advise

    Sorry about the number of days. Yes Marathi Mandal of ISC keeps Ganpati.
    Before the Marati mandal used to keep in Foodlands restaurant before the ISC bldg was constructed.

    Went to ISC y'day evening ... it is a small pandal, but very cute. It was very crowded y'day but the crowd management was rather good. Towards the end, they started bhajans as well. Nicely organised by Maharashtra Mandal.

    Above all, got the feeling that the Ganesh festival is on. Else, there is no sign of it on the streets unlike India where there is light, dance and festivities everywhere !!
