Few days back we were involved in a fund raising programme for our institution. Our co-ordinator while instructing a person to write RS 5000/- in the counter foil, was simultaneously engaged in a telephonic talk to one of our sponsors. The sponsor happened to over hear the talk. Without knowing the situation he assumed the proposal was put to him. The man though a bit hesistant agreed to give a donation of RS 5000/-in addition to the sponsored item. The co-ordinator a shrewd person didn't bother to clarify and readily accepted the gesture, with a smile. All of us present there couldn't believe the way the coordinator made use of the situation.
