Foods to Reduce Anemia

    hi,
    Apart from consuming iron rich foods,avoid food that inhibit iron absorption.some inhibitors are coffee,tea,whole grains,soy products.

    Cure of anaemia

    The juice of Musambi (sweet Lemon) is the greatest thing, which is rezuvenate your blood cells and increase your blood level.

    Also, Mocha (green banana flower), figs, green banana are good source of Iron. I hope these all are help you and you will be quickly cured.

    not all greens are rich in iron. I am not sure of their botanical names, but i know the tamil nams of a few. Spinach is a v.good source of folic acid [ a b-vitamin] , but not iron.

    if u eat non-veg, then the bone [ specifically bone- marrow] of lamb is v. v. rich in iron. Make soup of it and try to include it once in a week. Don't forget to chew the bone so as to get the iron. You may spit out the residue.

    Apart from having foods rich in iron, what you can also do is to buy an iron kadai , and cook stir fry's in them. Your irn deficiency will vanish in no time..

    eat daily morning with breakfast dates and drinkg 1 glass oraange juice(Orange juice helps in absorbing iron from food),do take sesame halwa, oatflakes, almonds, spinach, dried figs too :)
    (broccoli, tomato juice, brussel sprouts increase iron absorbtion by body)

    Apart from all the suggestions u got u can also look out for cereal which has more iron supplement like multi grain cherios .Wanted to share one more piece of info that the dry rajma tat u get has more iron content than the canned ones
