My daughter is 8 months old and juices didnt work out right for her..And this is what I did :

Soak some sliced pieces of apple and Banana in boiling milk and sugar for 4 hours. Once they are alomost semi boiled - you can mash them slightly (either in a mixer or by hand) and I am sure kids enjoy it better than juices.

Sweet Oats Porridge

This can be given to kids from 7 months.

Ingredients:

Instant Oats : 2 tbsp
Dried Apricots : 2
Apple : 2 slices
Milk: Formula/Whole/Coconut


In a microwaveable dish add the above ingredients along with 4 tbsp water and cook in HIGH for 2 minutes.Remove and stir with the milk and cook for 2 more minutes.Make it into u r desired consistency.
Let cool and serve it to baby.

Hello everyone

I have a 6 month old baby. I want to know about her feeding schedule as she is my first child.
I give her rice cereal two times and boiled apple once in a day with frequently breast feeding.

Hi as she is 6 months old u can give her carrot puree,banana and fruit juices.U can give her dal water ( cook turdal by pouring some extra water and when the dal is cooked remove that water and give) u can try small pices of idly by soaking in dal.These r only trials pls observe her condition .Avoid salt and sugar.Ok then happy feeding

thanks to give me response to feed my baby.
today i tried rice, dal with peas as mentioned in this forum. she liked it.
thanks again to give me the suggestion.
can u help me to decide what to give her in dinner.

hi u can give cerelac and a fruit for dinner as i am doing same with my kid.If she still feel hungry u can try juice r any other liquid which is easy to digest as it is nite u try light food for her.

Hai I want to know what solid food can i feed for my 7months baby now iam feeding cerelac for 2 times and idly for 1time shall i feed rice with dal and vegetables or pls suggest me any other food?
