Dear Friends, i too got FLAX SEEDS from NILGRIS , since it is in seed form , i dont know what to do , pls help me how to eat it
hi Lata, I happened to log in this site after a long time.............sorry fr the late reply.I too use Flax seeds in some of my cooking all yu hv to do is to add in any of yur dishes after yu prepare&just before yu serve.It does nt hv any taste as such bt a sort of sluggery appearence whn added&kept fr sme time.I believe its very good fr health.........hs omiga-3,which is good suitable fr the vegetarian and it hs antioxidant properties too!!.yu can just add 1 tsp or half to yur dishes&chew on!!!!!!!! If you get in seed form,. grind it and add to chappati, cereal etc. It is very good for health esp for vegetarians who lack in Omega-3s
I have added the grinded flax seeds to cereal , muffins , cakes chapattis . Its tasteless so it doesn't change your final dish. Also I started with adding only a tb sp or so & then gradually increased the amount.
