My DS was seriously reading the Goosebumps series, 'Return of the Mummy'. It is a thriller series. I exclaimed, "Wow! DS, You are reading Goosebumps?! You are so brave" He shrugged casually, "It is not even scary " I could sense the brimming pride in his voice. In the next couple of minutes, he came running to me from the couch screaming. "Ha! Mommy!! There is an insect! " I controlled my laughter and shooed off the teeny tiny harmless bug. He was still clinging to my legs. I said, "Why don't you go back to ur couch and read? " My boy goes, "But, That's where it happened! " Now if you happen to see 'that brave boy', let me know. PS: oh well..what do I know.. Fiction is not the same as Non-Fiction for obvious reasons.:biglaugh
I do it at times after reading Rajesh Kumar's Vivek-Rubala series:hide:. Thanks for the hilarious incident True.It was interesting to read:thumbsup
Hahaha...you and your DS both are a hoot. Loved reading the exchange between you and your DS... :rotfl
Thanks Raji ! Raji, You afraid after Rajesh's Vivek-Rupala? Come on girl. :rotflYou know what I do at home, I switch off all lights. Chuck out DH and DS to the bedroom and watch crime series in TV all alone. It will be so thrilling. Try it.
Thanks, Jaya! Jay, it was very fun when he could not even say 'that's where the bug came'. He goes 'that's where IT happened' as if some horror just happened. :biglaugh
Dear true, In a very humorous way you have brought the the incident !!So cute your DS! But this happens to all . I used to read and watch crime stories all alone without any fear but once I see a mouse running or lizard on the wall , I used to scream bringing the roof down !!! with love pad
