Fall Material For Saree - Why Can't I Make Pleats Without Low Heat Hair Straightener!!!!

    What is best type of material to use for fall


    1. In chiffon saree I created double-layer cotton fabric fall. it is impossible to create pleats. I just ordered low heat hair straightener to see if I can get proper pleats.

    I know, I know, the heat will fade the color, but I am so desperate to drape this chiffon saree

    2. Georgette saree. I merged scraps of thin cotton and satin to create fall. I am unable to determine if I will make pleats in this saree without using low heat hair straightener


    I am thinking, should one use satin material to create saree fall.

    This is driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    not much experience. However Chiffon/Georgette do not need lot of heat. For pleating on those fabrics, i am not sure if you need straightner, or problly might need high heat?
    Are you saying cotton fall is interfering with pleat making process. Was cotton too thick?

    Lets wait to hear from more experienced people.

    I believe the fall was too thick

    I created double layer of cotton fabric to create fall
