Faint positive or evap line?

    Hi,

    I am 16 days post ovulation. Yesterday I had a pregnancy test in the evening and there came a very faint line barely visible, but there was one...even hubby is sure about the line

    Just wondering if it is evaporation line or a positive one...the line is soo faint that it doesn't even show up when you take a pic

    Have you missed your period???.... If so, pregnancy is confirmed.... else wait for 2 days and take another test.... Line will be thicker than last time

    Why don't u repeat the test?
    I think it should b read in first 5 mins .. To avoid false positive.

    If u believe u n ur hubby have seen a faint line , I hope ur pregnant!

    For more accurate results, please test with your first urine in the morning. Results would be more accurate by then.

    Yeah, I will wait till tomorrow morning to test (too scared to test though)...the last test was taken last evening..
    And yes it's 16 days post ovulation and I still have not had my periods..

    A second line is positive whether its faint of dark.. Anyways repeat the test after a couple of days or a weeks time if you miss your periods.

    Hi,

    I got my blood test done..confirmed pregnancy..but my beta hcg is only 185 ..as per LMP i am 6 weeks, so 185 for 6 weeks is way too less..but i know for sure that this time i ovulated on day 25 (used the ovulation kit) , so was only 16-17 days post pvulatiov..so doctor wants to run another test in two weeks.
    Also I had subclinical hypothyroidism for which I was taking minimal dose of thyroxine (50 mcg) ..apparently now my levels are reduced way below than normal so asking to stop meds for a week n start having 25 mcg for another week..

    Congratulations first of all !!!
    I think u should get a scan and check how many weeks u r on scan. U could have ovulated late , like u said.Ultrasound would give u a clear picture. Didn't the doctor ask u to repeat the beta hcg after 48 hours ? It should be doubling , for a normal pregnancy.
    Don't take stress, pray to God , leave it to him..

    doctor asked to do hcg after 2 weeks to book the ultrasound appointment accordingly..apparently my hcg levels are on par for 17 dpo..
