The OLD TOWN HALL SQUARE has main palaces,buildings monuments,hotels,cafes . In the middle you can find the TOWN HALL built in the year 1364.,by JOHN BLIND,the king of BOHEMIA.It is 70 metres tall.Houses both GOTHIC and REINASSANCE styles.During the second WORLD WAR it was damaged and was renovated .The old town hall has a clock which was perfected by HANUS in the 15th Century,he was made blind by city's council so that he would not make a clock more beautiful than this.Just before the hour we saw 12 apostles march past.There is a skeleton on the right representing death which starts by pulling a string.He looks at his other hand which holds an hour glass .Two windows open at the time and 12 apostles march .It was amazing to watch it there was lot of tourists,but we managed to look at it..Below that there is an astronomical clock which shows EARTH is in the center ,and the zodiac signs related to the sun and the moon made by JOSEF MANES in the year 1866. Then we saw NICHOLAS CHURCH,KINSKY PALACE,A MONUMENT FOR JAN HUS A CZECH REFORMER,,STONE BELL HOUSE,.Then there was the VIRGIN MARY CHURCH wherein a golden calix was melt a statue of MARY was built, JEWISH SYNAGOGUE ,A GOLEM CONSTRUCTED BY A JEWISH RABBI . FRANZ KAFKA SQUARE is a part of the OLD TOWN SQUARE.He was a GERMAN SPEAKING JEWISH WRITER.His house is here. We saw many buildings,here.Then we were given some spare time to shop and roam round.Managed to see the CLOCK strike again,buy souvenirs ,and look around.It was vibrant like all TOWN CENTRES ......... After a lovely dinner we drove back to the hotel for the last leg of our tour onto GERMANY the next day

W e traveled to GERMANY the next day.BERLIN is the capital.It is 4th largest country in EUROPE and the second largest exporter.It is economically politically and commercially important country.The population is almost 80.3 million. We went to a place called DRESDEN.
