Estimation for Delivery expenses in Chennai

Hi All,
Im in 25th week of my pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy.
Im consulting Dr. Usha Reddy in Vijaya Hospital,Vadapalani.

Planning to have delivery there itself since my hometown is also chennai.

I want to know the estimation for the delivery expenses in chennai .. Im scared as one of my friend told Vijaya is too costly(50 K for C section):hide:.

Can some senior IL's through their idea on this?

hi..
i am not sure how much VIJAYA hospital wud charge.. but i had undergone for normal delivery in chennai private hospital.... I had stayed in A/C room and for 5 days, they charged me Rs.30,000.... i guess this wud give u some rough guideline.. To my understanding for normal delivery+3 days stay it wud cost b/w 25-30K and for C section 35-45K...

I m not sure abt VIJAYA hosp. But the hosp where i delivered charged very reasonable. I had c section, for 5 days it was around 37k (AC room+TV), this also includs my son's NICU treatment and medicine for the first 5 days.

But my stay in the hosp extended for another 5 more days for my son's treatment...but we ended up spending 80k atlast (this includes his NICU charges on the other hospital)

Hi

My 3 yrs old daughter was born in vijaya only by Dr. Mala. Mine was normal and it cost me around 20,000 including 5 days stay in AC room.

This hospital is very nice, and Dr. Mala is extremely sweet lady.
