    embroidery

    hi all,
For embroidering i usually use only anchor threads and cone threads. Some of our IL's have mentioned that they had used silk or pearl thread. Can anyone help me to know how they look like.Is it the threads used for machine embroidery or something else. Thanks in advance.
    chasha.

    Hi chasha,

If u have practised with cotton threads it will be easy with silk threads. yes it gets tangled. If u try it will be easy........

Query on whether to draw design or cut salwar and draw design

    Hi all
I am new here. I used to do embroidary long time back. Now I want to start over again. My basic question is if i wnt to do work on a salwar should I get it stitched first? If so How can I put hoop to all places like sleeves? I would appriciate some reply. Thanks

    Rekha

re: Query on whether to draw design or cut salwar and draw design

If it a design with small flowers you can stitch without a hoop. If your design needs hoop, get the neck marked by your tailor.he will mark sleeve and sides also. you can use hoop and work.
