    Re: Hand embroidery

    Hi rama mani

www .inaminuteago.com is an excellent site.

A popular area of the site is an online stitch collection, that provides step by step instructions on how to sew various hand embroidery stitches. I have classified stitches as to thier difficulty and also cross indexed the stitches for people who know stitches by other names will hopefully find them.
    hopefully find them.

u have stitches in alphabetical order every stitch u need is clearly instructed.

please see this site & tell me whether u like it.

Most of the bookstores have good embroidery books with designs for tracing.

    Re: Hand embroidery

    Dear Rama,

I think you should start from cross-stiching, it's very easy.
Here you can find some patterns (they are not for sarees, of course, just to start) - Makosh.net
