    Create embroidery designs

    Hello all,

Do you do embroidery on home or business basis? Can you convert a photo into embroidery designs? I do embroidery digitizing professionally.

Embroidery digitizing is to convert company logos, portraits, artworks and photos to embroidery designs in various formats (EMB, DST, MJD, PES, CND, DSB, 100, DSZ, KSM, PEC, SEW, JEF, PCS, XXX, HUS, EXP, VIP, T01, TAP, T03, T04, T05, T09, ART, PCD, PCQ, CSD, DAT, VEP, ESS, ESL, T10 and T15 etc), including Flat, 3D, Cap, Sequin, Applique and Chenille digitizing.

It is really interesting to convert a photo to embroidered artwork when you sew out the digitized tape after digitizing.

Someone who deal in embroidery welcome to share experience with me.

    Best wishes,
    Linda :)

Re: how to stitich a border in a saree?

Worked border will go good with chiffon satin and crape plain saree's. You better fix it by hand. If you use sewing machine there are chances to break the needle coz of the kundan and stones on the border.
    Hope this information will help..

    Re: pachis work doubt

For pachis work, you can use the normal silk threads which we use for embroidery with more number of strands or use the anchor cotton threads.

    bead work

decades ago i had made a lot of bead work projects in mysore, like cycle, sofa, bananas, matapa, dolls, etc. the biggest were tirupathi venkatesha picture and veena. friends and relatives took most of them and my mom saved a few for me.

is this craft still alive? are there any books available on this? i'd copied from my neighbors' back then.

if you have any please post a pic here.
