    Hi Folks
Let me share with you how we create a designer Sherwani for a wedding reception.

The customer is from Australia and her wedding reception saree is from India. The couple visited our shop for making her saree blouse. The bridegroom is an Australian. He fancied Sherwani and was looking for one in our shop. He liked few but none of them fitted him, since he was very tall. So we suggested that we will custom make one for him. They agreed. So we chose the material of the same hue as the saree and designed for him.

Let us see the sequence of events in this thread.

Once the design chosen, drawn n traced and lay out done, we went on to choose the color of the thread to match the color of the saree pattern :spin. After this was resolved a trial run done. Visualised if it can match the saree. Once that is confirmed n satisfied the worst critic :rant(that is me, of course). Once everybody agree :biglaughthen we get on to the bizness n await the outcome :hide:

Between the two trial runs we went for the light shade sequences ( I had tough time in convincing the team) bcos of the thought........:idea

    1. It will be darker shade. It might not match the bride's saree, though the sherwani per se will come out great.

    2. It has to match the saree n should not out do the bride's saree.

    3. The bridegroom is a westerner. He might like it to be simple, sober, not too shiny yet attractive.

So finally agreed :biglaughand work started to progress
