    Hi bindhu,
    The first one is another type of applique where you applique a printed design onto a plain fabric & follow the design on the printed fabric with embroidery.
    IMITATION VELVET EMBROIDERY
    The next is self explanatory. i would like you to tell me how you think it was done Witsend not too difficult. TRY
    the next of course is my trial. :crazy

    I cudnt make out from the instruction..it shows two needles at A,B...
    However here is my wildest guess...
    "uniform zig-zag done end-end as filling?"

    Hi bindhu,
    Your guess is right.:idea . you start a design at one end zig zag over a thick needle. now place the second needle adjacent to the first & zig zag over it. After finishing this remove the first needle & do the same with it. continue until you finish the design.
    I will post the next set in a day or two.

    SHADED EMBROIDERY
    1..This is shaded embroidery. you will have to keep changing the thread according to need. all my works are generally in this style only
    changing colours were easy but when I wanted to do a black & white one It was a real challenge. The buddha & 2..this picture are my trials.

    Is this the running stitch done without the presser foot?
    Do u first trace thje picture on the cloth?

    But i admire 'em all esp b'cos u learned it on ur own,and that is my prime inspiration too.
    Also temme how to make chain stitch and herringbone stitch using machine.
