    the kind of designs that i am looking for are lets say oval in shape or circular shape. thank you for providing the link but the ones i prefer are different in shape.

    I thought it is called Aari needle in India. I never bought it there though, just heard from friends.

    I have gone through the tutorials for aari. Wondering can we do aari without a frame or using a small frame?

    Yeah... you can do round frame....not very small...little bit big frame...u can do aari work. i am doing aari work on my saree, using round frame.
