    vishnu is very good at aari embroidery. Ilites should learn from her.

    I saw a beautiful small aari cot . I was thinking of u vishnu.........

    hai jayshree,

    i m very eager to learn aari work. that site is very useful and its clear. with that instruction i got enough info to start aari, but when i insert needle and taking back the needle in to the loop, the needle also brings the thread of the fabric along with the working thread also in one single action i could not able to take working thread above the fabric and into the loop. its getting delayed and i m losting patience too. also i dont know how to finish the stitch....... can u please help me........... thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the feedback on this link.I dont do this work-Aari.But Meyyammai can help you so also the threads with aari headings.

    im goody living in chennai. im very much interested in embroidery both aari work as well as free style. just now i came across this site i felt i missed so much theses years. anyhow better late than never. very soon i will post my works. where do u live in chenai? do u do aari work? can u rely pls?

    You are in the right place to learn crafts.IL has taught me so much and new friends.I cant give details of numbers but meyammai in IL stating in Mylapore is a expert in Aari.Have a look at her album and threads.She teaches too.IL has a directory where members can leave their contact.Please do refer.I stay in Mylapore.
    I am not ino Aari,but free style works and crochet.
