Elders Are They Always Right

Can anyone be right always? No way, but some elders expect their line only to be toed and when today's children do not tag along their lines they feel they are not respected. I strongly feel that respect can not be commanded. My father is law always insisted that he is always to be obeyed as he was the eldest. I had no right to go to my room so as to be available to them in case they need anything, cant embroider or read in the room where they were watching TV prgs of their choice, cannot watch prg of my choice even when they were not watching, etc and if I insisted on doing all these he just cant take it. Respect comes automatically if the person if warm hearted, kind, understanding and can not be asked perforce just because you are elder agewise...I hope I am right...

 

We need not take unfit words from any one including elders. We can politely tell them we r hurt with such words.
