HI All, we live in Thousand Oaks, CA, and we would like to get my 3 month old daughter's ears pierced. Does anyone have any recommendations of where to get it done. . I would prefer if someone in the medical field did it. We have the Kaiser Permanante Insurance. But Kaiser is not supporting Ear piercing. I do not want to get it done at the mall . I am afraid to get it done in Mall due to infection and other problems. Any suggestions/personal experiences? Or is it too early to do it? Please suggest me. Thanks, Vasuk
I think Ear piercing is not covered by most of the health insurance. I got my daughter's year pierced when she was 1 year old at Claire's(At mall).Two persons stood on either side and did the piercing.I didn't even give her tylenol for the pain.She was ok within 5 mins as soon as we came out of the shop and we were shopping other stuffs.They have very good experience with this,so there won't be much infection.You just have to clean it every day . The pediatrician office charges around 50$ for ear piercing and they do it pretty same.
`Hi, I pierced my daughter's ears whn she was 3 months old, I did it at piercing- pagoda at the mall they are professionals and I had no pbm. She cried for 2 mts and then fell asleep. They did it so well. U dont need insurance for it. These are my personal experiences.
