    hi..golikaravi

since ur baby is only 9 months old its advisable to wait for 3-4 months before starting dry fruits...some children can actually develop allergies and asthma if nuts are given...i agree with mridusudha..i had the same doubt so when i checked it out with my daughter's paed she advised me to wait till she is one year old...

    Hi golikaravi

As mentioned by all it's safe to introduce nuts slowly...But u can also try introducing slowly with raisins, almonds and cashew....I started nuts for LO when she was 8+ months....I used to add 1 or 2 of the above and grind it with the wheat kanchi i make.......She was doing good and i didn't face any prob.....
