Dr. S. Jaishankar is one of the most competent cabinet ministers that India can be proud of. He is espousing the interests of our nation at any fora with utmost diligence, distinction and finesse to save Hinduism. His rich experience is helping him to articulate in a measured and dignified way while dealing very sensitive or strategic matters.

Dr. S. Jaishankar married to a Japanese woman Kyoko, has two sons Dhruva, Arjun and a daughter, Medha. He speaks Tamil, Hindi, English, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and some Hungarian. After joining the Indian Foreign Service in 1977, Jaishankar served as third secretary and second secretary in the Indian mission to the Soviet Union in Moscow from 1979 to 1981, where he studied Russian. He returned to New Delhi, where he worked as a special assistant to the diplomat Gopalaswami Parthasarathy and as undersecretary in the Americas division of India's Ministry of External Affairs, dealing with United States. He was part of the team that resolved the dispute over the supply of US nuclear fuel to the Tarapur Power Stations in India. From 1985 to 1988 he was the first secretary at the Indian embassy in Washington, D.C.

Dr. S. JaiShankar was born in New Delhi, India to prominent Indian strategic affairs analyst, commentator and civil servant K. Subrahmanyam and Devi Sulochana Subrahmanyam. He is Alumni of The Air Force School, Subroto Park, Delhi Cantonment. He has two brothers; the historian Sanjay Subrahmanyam and the IAS officer S. Vijay Kumar, former Rural Development Secretary of India. Son of an Officer of the Indian Air Force, father K. Subramaniam who was a great strategic thinker and guided India during the late 20th century.

He is the man of the moment now. His response to his counterpart in the US, is something that nobody in the Indian government would have even dared to contemplate earlier. A few great men, patriotic intentions, flawless execution, selfless deliveries and they make our entire india super proud. May God bless these wonderful people with long life, happiness and in the service of our Bharatmata.

    Dear Smt. Jayasala:

Dr. S. Jaishankar is a great diplomate and has earned his credentials over so many years of service to the Indian government. I do have a lot of respect for him.

However, speaking up to the United States is easier as their conversations with allies and partners are always cordial with frank and open dialogue from both sides. In fact, many Asian countries clearly communicated to the US that their aggression is wrong when they invaded Iraq for no reason (second time). What matters is how the Indian foreign minister speaks up against authoritarian regimes. India said that disputes can be resolved through dialogue which in my view is the mildest statement. I understand Russia and Soviet Union stood up for India multiple times. But when they do aggressive acts like occupying an independent nation, speaking up against Russia can be considered as a gutsy act. Finland and Sweden are standing up against Russia announcing their intention to join NATO despite the risk of Russia threatening to set up nuclear base around their countries. Why do they do that? Because they don't agree with the Russian aggression of Ukraine.

But Dr. S. Jaishankar made great points about how much oil is purchased by Europe from Russia when compared to India. He also made great points about humanitarian approach India is taking by ensuring food security and providing medicines to Ukraine.
